More Monsoon Season… because it’s just that great.

Seriously. The rain is coming down in buckets. We don’t know when it will end, so everyone carries around strong umbrellas to get through it. Most subway stations have these places where you stick the umbrella in a plastic bag and not get water all over the subway.

Walking to and from school is not fun… I need a pair of rainboots, but am too cheap to buy them (a lot of people have the Hunter rainboots, but at 200,000 won, or about $200, I’m not paying that!) I miss my cute $20 Target boots from home. But such is life… hopefully I can find a cute pair for around $50 or $60.

There IS a positive side to all of this! It’s not *that* humid out. Well not the August-humid that it was when we got here last year. Apparently July and August are the worst for heat, so we’ll see!

I can’t imagine unending rain….how many days now? You will have to leave room in your luggage to take back a pair for next year

Please send some of that rain to us in Texas. I would gladly welcome a year of rain vs. a drought. Rain means growth and it is essential to have. Americans waste water so much – it should be our #1 concern.
